Hello from Brittany in Northern France

Hi,
I have been following this channel for the last 12 months and am alway looking for new videos so it was an obvious move to sing up here when I saw this forum.

I am in my early 70s and moved here along with my wife 3 years ago from the UK. I was a carpenter by trade and am interested in all forms of self sufficiency and self reliance.

We have about 2.1/4 acres of ground along with a small wood and a stream. In the last year I have built an hydraulic ram to lift water from my stream some 50 feet vertically and over 300 feet away into a holding tank to provide water for my garden
I have also purchased a small alaskan saw mill and am milling my own lumber.

I always seem to have some project or another underway and am about to use the lumber that I've cut already to construct a 250 square foot outside shelter for my tractor and ride on mower plus other implements.

In the last couple of years or so I have really got into growing my own vegetables and will be expanding this area this year.

I enjoy conversing and always respond to conversations.
